About Fred and Tia Robbins:

 

Former Super Bowl champion and retired NFL defensive tackle, Fred Robbins, began his illustrious 12-year professional football career when he was drafted in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. During his career, Fred was a member of the Vikings, New York Giants and the St. Louis Rams. He retired from the NFL in 2012.

 

Upon retirement, Fred returned to his hometown of Pensacola with his wife Tia, and their two sons Tre and Troi to begin the next phase of his career. Robbins now works with young football players as an athletic coach at EXOS, a sector of Andrew’s Institute. Aside from his work training aspiring youth athletes, Robbins is an active member of the Pensacola community. He serves as a board member of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce and supports many local charities and events.

 

Fred attended J.M. Tate High School in Pensacola where he lettered in football and baseball. In 2016, he was inducted into the Pensacola Sports Hall of Fame. Robbins played college football at Wake Forest University where he started every game for three years at defensive tackle. His love of Wake Forest led him to become a member of the Deacon Club Board of Directors which is charged with supporting and building university athletics. Robbins’ alma mater honored his collegiate career in 2015 by inducting him into the Wake Forest University Hall of Fame.

 

Tia is also deeply committed to serving the Pensacola community. She serves on the West Florida Hospital Women’s Advisory Board, is a board member of the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation, serves as an active member of IMPACT 100 and is a legacy member of the Pensacola Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Aside from her work as a wife and mother, Tia is also a lifestyle entrepreneur and has started companies in areas that promote prioritizing lifestyle benefits over profit. This trait is reflected in the creation and ownership of Bombshell Moms, Inc., a fitness program for women and moms, as well as Off the Market, LLC., which organizes special events and travel retreats for couples.
